On October 11, Liu Guiju, the deputy director of High Tech Bureau of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yang Yongfeng, the deputy director of Comprehensive Planning Office led Expert Review Group to carry out concluding evaluation for “Homogeneous Catalysis Research Team” of Innovation Team International Partner Program of Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry.

Director Jiang Biao, Party Secretary Jia Jingfang, Deputy Director Ding Kuiling, etc, attended the Evaluation Meeting. Director Jiang Biao made a welcome speech. Deputy Director Liu Guiju announced the members of Expert Group with Academician Huang Xuan of Zhejiang University as leader of the Review Group: Professor Huang Zu’en and Jin Guoxin at the Fudan University, Professor Shen Qi at the Suzhou University, Professor Tang Jie at the East China Normal University, Professor Zhou Qilin at the Nankai University, Professor Gong Liuzhu at the University of Science and Technology of China, Researcher Chen Yongjun at the Department of Chemistry of National Natural Science Foundation of China and Cao Jinghua, the deputy director of International Cooperation Bureau of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

As the responsible person of International Partner Program of Innovation and Research Team, Academician Ma Shengming at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry made summary report of team research work to the Review Group. Professor Zhang Xumu and Wang Peng, who are the oversea members of the Team and Researcher Tang Yong, who is the domestic member of the Team, etc, made working reports respectively.

“International Partner Program of Homogeneous Catalysis Research and Innovation Team” brought together six domestic young and middle-aged scientists (Academician Ma Shengming, Researcher Ding Kuiling, Tang Yong, Hou Xuelong, Shi Min and Liu Yuanhong at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry) and six scientific and technological talents (Professor Zhang Xumu at the State University of New Jersey USA, Professor Pu Lin at the University of Virginia USA, Professor Wang Peng at the Ohio State University USA, Professor Li Guigen at the Texas Tech State University USA, Professor Xie Zuowei at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Professor Jia Guocheng at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology). The research work made gratifying progress under the powerful support of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Expert Review Group affirmed the achievements obtained by the Team, thought it was an excellent innovation and research team and called on the national and relevant departments to continue to support the Team.
